Model HLS Magnetic float switch

As part of our float switch range, Fluid Controls stock and supplies magnetic float switches from renowned manufacturers, WIKA. The HLS horizontal magnetic float switches offer users with numerous possibilities to monitor and switch levels to indicate both minimum and maximum levels of flow.

Our HLS model features a float attached to a supported, swivelling elver and moves with the level of medium being measured. This is achieved by means of a permanent magnet that is fixed to the end of a lever. When a present switch point isz reached during operation, a reed contact (i.e. inert gas contact) within the contact pipe of begins to actuate.

The HLS model magnetic float switch benefits from a non-contact switching operation, ensuring it is free from wear and can be operated without a power supply. Additionally, the functioning of WIKA’s HLS magnetic float switch is independent of foaming, conductivity, vapours, bubble formation and vibrations.

It is also simple to mount and maintenance-free, which reduces the price of commissioning and keeps operating costs low. WIKA’s horizontal magnetic float switches also benefit from universal signal processing and direct connection to either PLC’s, NAMUR connections if required, as well as signal amplifiers or contact protection relays.

To purchase WIKA’s HLS model magnetic float switch, contact Fluid Controls directly on 0118 970 2060 or email fluid@fluidcontrols.co.uk.
