Blanketing and Low Pressure Regulators
Find a complete range of blanketing and pressure regulators supplied by Fluid Controls from Jordan Valve. The Mark 608 Series of gas pressure regulators is an ideal valve for low-pressure gas regulation. These self-contained low-pressure gas regulators are for use on tank blanketing, gas meter inlet pressure regulating, gas burners, and other low-pressure air and gas applications.
Mark 608 Series Gas Pressure Regulators
The Mark 608 Gas Pressure Regulator is used on large tank blanketing regulator applications or other low-pressure gas regulations. In a tank blanketing application, the Mark 608 controls the flow of the blanketing gas into the tank to maintain the proper positive pressure. Once the blanket has been established, a small flow of nitrogen is continually admitted to the tank to keep the blanket fresh.
The Mark 608 comes standard with an extra large diaphragm to give set-point control as low as 2.0″ w.c. (4,98 mbar). The “S” pattern body design allows for high-flow capacity and offers a bubble-tight shutoff option. Completely self-operated, the Mark 608 does not require an external power source. A soft elastomer plug provides ANSI Class VI shutoff, and an extra-large diaphragm offers greater sensitivity and accuracy.
Mark 608BP, Mark 608IS and Mark 608DS<
The Mark 608BP Balanced Plug Gas Pressure Regulator is the ideal valve for low-pressure gas regulation with higher inlet pressures. The self-contained low-pressure gas regulator is used for tank blanketing, gas meter inlet pressure regulating, gas burners, and other low-pressure air and gas applications.
The Mark 608IS Gas Pressure Regulator is the ideal valve for low-pressure gas regulation. The self-contained low-pressure gas regulator is used for tank blanketing, gas meter inlet pressure regulating, gas burners, and other low-pressure air and gas applications.
The Mark 608DS is a double-seated, self-operated gas regulator for tank blanketing regulator applications. The double-seated design allows the Mark 608DS to handle increased flow and higher pressure drops than similarly sized single-seat valve types while maintaining ANSI Class VI shutoff.
