The Project in Hand
To assist with the on-going scientific experiments at Diamond Light Source, they reached out to Fluid Controls for the assembly of a High Pressure Gas Delivery Rig, known as an I11 gas pressure panel, used on a Beamline at Diamond Light Source.
Presenting as a compact, yet powerful panel, the High Pressure Gas Delivery Rig would allow scientists to control the vast range of gases fed to the sample station throughout various types of experiments. The I11 is equipped with a gas dosing panel for ease of adding low or high pressure gas to sample cells during data collection. However, with any controlled science experiments, the safe operation, accuracy, and accreditation of the gas delivery system was paramount.
The Outcome
After designing, building and delivering the gas pressure panel to Diamond Light Source, Fluid Controls continues to annually service it to ensure it complies with the safety regulations on pressurised gas systems.
