Flow Switches, Flow Meters and Excess Flow Valves

Fluid Controls can supply a complete range of Flow Switches, Flow Meters and Excess Flow Valves. Malema’s range of flow switches, flow meters and excess flow valves are recognised by the leading certifying bodies around the world.

Widely used in industries ranging from offshore to semi-conductors, including harsh environments, their products are UL and ATEX approved as well as CE compliant. Available in choice of materials, these units are suitable for almost all measuring and monitoring applications.

Malema Flow Switches

Malema M-50 Series Fixed Set Point Flow SwitchesMalema offers adjustable and fixed set point flow switches in piston and paddle style working principle. They are available in variety of flow ranges, sizes and materials. The salient feature of buying Malema flow switch is that it comes with custom calibration option to precisely suit your application.

The inline and by-pass style configurations, standard and custom fittings options make them a versatile flow switch for various applications for gases and liquids. They are also available in explosion proof designs to install in hazardous locations.

Malema Flow Meters

Malema CPFM-8800 Series Coriolis Mass Flow MetersMalema offers advanced flow meters for high purity, chemical, bio-medical and industrial applications for measuring flow of liquids, slurries, gases and steam. Malema pioneered all PFA and all PEEK Coriolis flow meters, straight tube PFA ultrasonic flow meters and PFA Paddlewheel flow meters to meet stringent purity requirements.

Malema’s ultrasonic flow meter range offers high accuracy and repeatability for measuring liquids and slurries with the help of the most advanced filtering and digital signal processing techniques used in the industry. Malema offers inline straight tube, U and Z style ultrasonic flow sensors.

Malema Excess Flow Valves

Malema M-XF excess flow valvesMalema Excess Flow Valves are normally open, in-line safety devices that act to limit flow of liquids or gases out of a pressurised system. While they will pass normal flow rates, they will close when the flow rates exceed the preset value. This occurs in the event when a pressurised system is opened to atmosphere due to pipe rupture or hose breakage or due to wrong process operation.

Malema excess flow valves protect personnel, equipment, environment and facilities in the event of catastrophic line breaks caused by earthquake, accidents, landslide, corrosion or deliberate action and reduces the risk of hazardous and explosive fluid spills and exposure. It also helps companies avoid costly clean ups and process downtime.
