What are Disposable Filter Units?

Disposable Filter Units are used to separate particles and fluid in a suspension, where the fluid can be a liquid, a supercritical fluid or gas. Depending on the application, either one or both of the components can be isolated. As they are disposable, these DFUs can be thrown away once they have been used.

Parker Disposable Filter Units

Parker’s Disposable Filter Units offer all the advantages of Microfibre Filter Cartridges for high efficiency liquid filtrations, combined with the convenience of complete disposability. These DFUs have pressure ratings up to 8.6 bar, filter samples to on-line liquid analysers and are suitable to be used in water or steam in temperatures up to 135˚C.

Parker Balston Disposable Filter Units consist of a filter cartridge which is permanently bonded into a sealed plastic holder. These reliable DFUs can operate to 125 psig pressure ratings, temperatures to 135°C and also come with the option of low and high flow models. These filters are the perfect complement to sensitive instrumentation found in compressed gas and liquids applications.
