Balston compressed air filters are designed to increase the longevity of your equipment and protect delicate instruments from dirt, water and oil, which are usually found in compressed air. Parker Balston filters channel liquid from the filter cartridge to an automatic drain. Balston air filters are constructed of anodised aluminium and stainless steel. Anodised aluminium is durable, resistant to corrosion and has an anodic oxide finish. Stainless steel is also resistant to corrosion and is extremely versatile. This material make-up allows Balston compressed air filters to be used effectively in a wide range of applications, ensuring long term reliability and performance.
Larger, mainline Parker Balston filters (3”pipe and up) are ASME code stamped, constructed of carbon steel and feature epoxy coated internals. This enhances the robustness of the filter and further reduces maintenance requirements, an all important feature for large systems and pieces of equipment.
