Here at Fluid Controls we know the value of sanitary fittings for the demanding rigours of hygienic applications. In this article, we give you a taster of just some of the high quality sanitary fittings that we can supply from Top Line and Bürkert.

For industries that are reliant on hygienic processing, such as the pharmaceuticals and biotech sectors, there is an obvious necessity for safe and reliable sanitary equipment to ensure the highest levels of hygiene from a product’s inception through to production.

Here are Fluid Controls, we understand the importance that our customers place on such products and parts. Which is why we stock a range of high quality sanitary fittings from high calibre manufacturers like Top Line and Bürkert.

Top Line Sanitary Fittings

Top Line Process Equipment Company is a leading supplier of sanitary stainless steel fittings. They have been supplying the food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, biotechnological and personal care industries for more than 50 years.

Top Line provide a range of Hygienic fittings, including Biopharm, Bevel Seat, Clamp, Sanitary Buttweld and Tube OD Buttweld. They specialise in stainless steel materials – types 304, 316, and “L grades” and can also manufacture fittings in AL6XN, Titanium, Hastelloy C, or other alloys if required.

Bürkert Sanitary Fittings

In 2008 Bürkert joined forces with BBS Systems to expand their range of sanitary fittings for the hygienic processing, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. This alliance balances Bürkert’s valve, sensor, process control, hazardous area and specialist products with BBS’s sterile range of sanitary pipes, piping flanges, connectors, indicators, sampling systems and vessel equipment. The end result is sanitary fittings of the highest quality.

Bürkert Type BBS-17 asepto sampling systems from BBS offer simple and safe sampling possibilities with a syringe. A specially developed membrane permits up 20 samples to be taken (by passing a syringe needle through it and directly into the process) and then reseals itself. When the membrane requires changing it is a quick and simple process to undertake.
